Casual Conversations | Tips for successful, consumer-centric collaboration, with Joan Milman

Long-time real estate agent and CEO of Listingbook, Joan Milman shares her tips for establishing and maintaining successful, consumer-centric collaboration with clients, and how technology is a tool to assist, not replace human connection.

Collaboration: A meeting of two (or more) people, where they have a goal that they are working towards together. In real estate this means a practice of sales where you are nurturing the client - putting them forward.

Tips For Consumer-Centric Collaboration

  1. Be Proactive! Get yourself out there so they know you exist (Website, blog, & social media).
  2. Speaking to the client in the channels they prefer to communicate.
  3. Have a great CRM, but make sure it is one that has two-way communication.
  4. Share your local expertise!
  5. Make your client comfortable

At the end of the day, it's all about human connection. Technology is a great tool to assist, but not to replace that connection.
